Tuyet and Danny were married at the Lionsgate Event Center at the end of the 2014 summer. The wedding was a wonderful mix of their Vietnamese and Hispanic cultures, beautiful vintage details, and vibrant pops of purple and yellow! Guests had an amazing time playing games on the ceremony programs, posing in the photo booth, doing the chicken dance (complete with chicken hats), and even an air guitar contest 🙂 My husband worked with Tuyet for many years, and I was so glad to have him along as my second shooter. They are wonderful friends, and I was so honored to be able to capture their special day! I am excited to watch their love grow for years and years to come.
Tuyet got very emotional opening her wedding gift from Danny!
Teamwork at it’s best 🙂
They decided to do a blindfolded “first look” so they could talk and hug before the ceremony, without ruining the surprise. It was really sweet! And at the last minute we couldn’t find a blindfold, so we had to improvise and use one of the bridesmaid’s sashes…worked like a charm!
My hubby got this great shot!
Triplet ring bearers! I don’t think they could have been any more cute 🙂
Tuyet looked so amazing in her Vietnamese wedding dress 🙂
In keeping with Vietnamese tradition, Tuyet’s family and the bride and groom had a celebratory champagne toast with each table.
They played the wedding shoe game, where the DJ asked questions like “who is most likely to get a speeding ticket?” (not sure if that was actually one of the questions LOL…I forget what was asked). They had to raise the shoot to represent their answer. It was really funny 🙂
There was even an air guitar contest…guests had a wonderful time!
We snuck outside for a few nighttime shots with the pretty, white lights…and then the night was a wrap! What a beautiful celebration it was 🙂
