Remember Lauren & Justin from the “Davis love story” real wedding workshop that I attended in 2015? Well, they are on the blog again today! This is the last post from their amazing destination wedding weekend at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Georgia. This was the day after their wedding. They put their wedding attire back on to get some more photos in a more relaxed setting. This is the beauty of doing a “trash the dress” photo session. You don’t really have to trash the dress (although it will likely get pretty dirty)…but the more you are up for, the more spectacular the photos. Here they had fun playing in the forest, sitting on the dock of Lake Oconee, and even sporting some blue ice skates for some winter wedding fun!! I know I have said it before, but I do not book enough Colorado winter weddings! I think winter weddings are way underrated! If you are having a winter wonderland wedding in the Colorado mountains, or really anywhere that will be beautifully blanketed in snow…get a hold of me now, I would love to talk with you 🙂
Sorry Lauren…this was too cute not to share 🙂
This wasn’t necessarily a “trash the dress” session…but boy did Lauren’s dress get dirty!
I think this is probably my favorite photo from Lauren & Justin’s Ritz-Carlton Lodge destination wedding. Sun-flare, the trees and leaves, the gentle dip & kiss…swoon!!
I had to share a photo of Mr. Davis doing his thing!! What an amazing photographer, so inspirational to newer photographers like myself 🙂
Thanks so much Lauren and Justin! It was so fun to be part of your amazing destination wedding weekend. And thanks to Bob & Dawn for hosting another inspirational “Davis love story” workshop 🙂 Wow, so glad that I got four blog posts done this week…so much more from this Estes Park wedding photographer coming soon. Have a wonderful weekend friends!
xoxo,
Melissa
