First post to the blog this week is Lana and Nick’s Chatfield Farms Wedding. This was the second wedding I was able to capture for this lovely family, alongside my dear friend Carylee Photography. Lana and Nick are a lovely couple, that threw an equally lovely Colorado garden wedding. After saying their “I DO’s” at their local Catholic Church, we headed over to Red Rocks for some wedding party and couple’s portraits. It’s always fun capturing Red Rocks wedding photos, especially since I got married there back in 2010. It brings back such happy and fun memories!
Lana and Nick’s bridal party was such a wild and fun bunch! There was a lot of laughter, toasting, and genuine smiles and emotion during their portrait time 🙂 We left Red Rocks and headed over to Chatfield Botanic Gardens for more photos, and their high-energy reception. There is never a shortage of beautiful, colorful backdrops for photos at Chatfield. And this time, we even lucked out with a gorgeously, colorful rainbow too!
I have loved every Chatfield Farms wedding that I have been fortunate enough to capture. Lana and Nick’s was no exception. The most memorable parts of their day were the giant “Lana and Nick” heads that everyone was posing with, the amazing rainbow that came out just as we were finishing their romantic portraits, the Broncos groom’s cake, and the huge Broncos fist Lana’s dad brought out during the toasts. Thanks to Carylee Photography for having me along, it was a wonderful day!
These giant Lana and Nick heads were a hit on their wedding day! They made several appearances in their photos, as guests had fun with them throughout the day 😉
