Mommy & Me Session | Firestone Family Photos | Colorado Child Photographer

Less than a week until Christmas, are you ready? I am…mostly! We are fonduing with my family on Saturday, and I need to get some stuff for yummy cheese fondue. Pretty stoked! We haven’t fondued on Christmas in years. It was a very long-standing tradition in my family, that we kind of took a break from once all the kiddos came into the picture. What family traditions do you have for the holidays? Speaking of family, here is a sweet mommy and me session, from this summer. Christian and Bryson’s Firestone family photos were a bit short lived. Poor Mr. Bryson was just not feeling it! He was kind of tired and didn’t want to warm up to this stranger with a camera.

We considered rescheduling, but we decided to try and make it work. I think we still got some cute ones! And I just focused on some more candid moments, of him playing on grandma and grandpa’s property. He loved “driving” the tractor, watching the chickens, playing with sticks, and carrying around my kangaroo plush toy. The property was a great backdrop for a photo shoot, with a barn, silo, trees, chickens, a train car, etc. All that, and it’s just a few minutes from my house…talk about ideal 🙂

I think this is my favorite of their Colorado family photos…such a genuine, happy moment!

Or maybe this one is my favorite…I can’t decide!
