Three blog posts in one week…say what?! I have been so excited to share this post. Tiana’s Longmont Colorado senior pictures were absolutely amazing! As I have said before, I really love when clients want to incorporate their interests into their session. It always makes for a truly personalized, and usually, more fun session! We definitely did that for Tiana’s session.
We started at the Longmont hot spot, the Callahan House. Here we captured some Longmont senior photos in a garden setting. This spot is always good, because it’s rarely busy, it’s well manicured, it has variety with the benches, fountain, gazebo, wrought iron fences, and urban-feeling staircase. And, of course, a plethora of colorful flowers, trees, and other greenery. Next, we went to downtown Longmont to an alleyway. I had walked down this alley many times, but never had an opportunity to do photos here. We made this a brief stop, because we didn’t want to lose too much light before our final stop 🙂 We got a more urban feel here, with the brick wall, and the cool wrought iron arch.
Finally, we headed over to Sunset Pool, where Tiana worked as a lifeguard and swimming coach. She got special permission to do a quick shoot here, after there open swim hours had ended for the day. I grew up going to this pool, so it brought back a wave of memories from childhood. It sure has changed since then though, and made me feel kinda old LOL! Tiana is on the swim team at Skyline High School, and it’s a very important part of her young life. The whole afternoon together was fun, but I was so stoked for this part of her session because I got to be extra creative! We did action shots, hilarious underwater outtakes, and captured one of my favorite high school senior photos to date. I like to call it “eyes on the water”!
Oh so proud of how this one turned out! Her colorful suit, against the vibrant blue pool…love!!
Sitting against a wall of water 😉
If you didn’t enjoy those enough already, how about some absolutely hysterical outtakes?!
And some “behind the scenes” cell phone shots of me working, from Tiana’s mom. Thanks Nina!Â
