Allyson + Chris | Chatfield Farms Denver Wedding | Colorado Wedding Photography

Allyson and Chris were so wonderful to work with, as were their families and friends! If you don’t remember their Denver engagement pictures, you can see those by clicking here. After working with them for that session, I just knew they would be calm, easy-going, and gracious on their wedding day. That’s exactly what I got at their Chatfield Farms Denver wedding 🙂 They were completely full of smiles, laughs, and thank you’s the entire day.

Allyson and Chris had a gorgeous wedding, chalk full of personalized and sweet details. I especially liked the shiny “dancing shoes” and display. The unique, vintage-inspired plate chargers, the awesome VW bus photo booth, and the amazing favors. Most guests received DIY succulents in little white vases. The couple’s grandmas received plush blankets, with a sweet note from the couple. The day was so magical! We were all totally covered in bug spray and mosquito bites. But also, hearts full of love and joy for the newlyweds.

Sometimes I forgot to tell my couples to bring their stationery along. Allyson and Chris, however, mailed it to me ahead of time, so I brought it along for some pretty photos in the garden.

It’s not often that I have so much time during the preparations photos, to play around. I brought out the off-camera flash to backlight the hairspray spraying, and even played with the prism for a few shots.

And then we headed over to the Chatfield Botanic Gardens to do this thing 🙂 We were running behind, and didn’t get the bride and bridesmaids photos done ahead of time. We had to pull the ladies out during the dinner, but they seemed understanding! Allyson and Chris handled these schedule changes perfectly. I advise other couples to follow suit, and just go with the flow, because no doubt, something will go off schedule.

This is not the first time a cute little bunny joined in for a Chatfield Farms Denver wedding ceremony!

At times it looked like it was snowing, because of all of the cotton and pollen flying in the air 🙂
