Brittney + Cory | Vail Golf Club Wedding | Colorado Wedding Photographer

New Year’s Eve has arrived! Seriously, how is that possible?! I hope you have fun plans for the evening. Not much around here, unfortunately. Still getting over this horrendous cold, and my husband is off ice fishing with friends today. He woke up at 4:30 am, so I don’t expect he will make it until midnight 😉 I still have lots of great 2018 weddings to share with you, in the new year. But one last one for 2018…Brittney and Cory’s Vail Golf Club wedding.

Brittney and Cory were married in the last weeks of summer, as the first aspen leaves started to turn gold. It was a very sunny, gorgeous day, and the Vail “wedding island” was the picture perfect location to exchange vows. My favorite parts of their Vail wedding were the very emotional ceremony…there were few dry eyes in the crowd! As well as incorporating their sweet dog, Ollie. He definitely added some funny, candid moments during the ceremony. The scrumptious popcorn bar favors for their guests. I don’t often eat wedding cake when photographing weddings, but I happily filled up a bag of popcorn to enjoy on the long drive home! Finally, Brittney and Cory’s wedding reception was a total blast! The dance floor was packed the entire time. Guests enjoyed dancing with massive glow sticks batons, and the unforgettable dance battle between Cory and his guys, and Brittney and her girls. It was hands down one of the most enjoyable receptions I have ever photographed. They sure know how to throw a party and show their guests a great time!

I have seen a lot of wildlife on wedding days, it’s Colorado after all! But this was the first time a beaver was swimming by as the ceremony was taking place…it was pretty cool 🙂

Rain on your wedding day doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Especially at night, once the ceremony and all of the important photos are completed. And especially when you get some epic nighttime portraits like this!
