Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Are you ready for the big day? I mostly am, just a few things to get at the grocery store tomorrow, and one or two more gifts to wrap. Today on the blog, a gorgeous day in Rocky Mountain National Park for these Estes Park maternity photos. These two may look familiar, if you follow my blog. I have had the pleasure of working with Katrina and Brian numerous times now. They even traveled and stayed with my husband and I in Creede, Colorado last year. For my styled elopement photo shoot 🙂 If you missed that, check it out HERE.
I first met Katrina and Brian years ago, when she was a bridesmaid in one of my Laramie weddings. Since then, I have done their engagement photos in Fort Collins. As well, as their beautiful A-Basin wedding. The Creede adventure elopement shoot I mentioned previously. Then these Estes Park maternity photos, and their son’s newborn photos since then. They have been wonderfully, loyal clients. I appreciate them so much!
Katrina and Brian and I ventured into RMNP for their May portraits. We met up on mother’s day, how fitting a location for this stunning mama-to-be?! We ended up stopping at the exact same locations I used for my own maternity photos. That definitely brought back many happy memories for me! Although, mine were during winter and there was so much snow everywhere. May in the Colorado high country can mean lots of snow too. Not this day, however. The weather was completely beautiful, aside from quite a lot of wind. We made it work though, and I love how the images turned out.
After stops at Sheep Lakes and Moraine Park, we continued their Estes Park maternity pictures at my favorite location, Sprague Lake.
This is easily one of my favorites from their maternity session. That light, that dress, that glowing mama-to-be! Love it all!
Thank you Katrina and Brian! I hope you have enjoyed the last 5 months with sweet Mr. Hudson 🙂 I look forward to (hopefully) capturing some family photos for you in the new year. Merry Christmas all…and wishing you health and happiness in 2020! I think it’s going to be an exciting and wonderful year.
