Happy Saturday all! Recently I brought you Karen and Randall’s winter engagement pictures from Echo Lake. Today, I am bringing you their Cielo at Castle Pines wedding photos too. I’ve photographed at this venue a few times now, and I hope there are more. It’s a beautiful venue..inside and out! Since there is not a TON of variety in the scenery there, I do think it’s a great idea when couples want to head over to nearby Daniels Park as well. This adds in some distant mountain views for a more Colorado feel. Karen and Randall were affected by covid. They drastically reduced their guest count to include their closest loved ones. There was such a nice and intimate feeling to their wedding though. They got to spend quality time with each and every guest!
Some of my favorite parts of their big day included their sweet first look at Daniels Park. Also, their very unique wedding cake including their figurines battling a giant dragon. It was such a fun and personal element! Not every wedding cake needs to be a 3 tier cake with flowers on it 😉 I also really loved the bouquets…Karen’s bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets alike. Finally, they had such a wonderful and heartfelt ceremony. There were tears and laughter, it was wonderful! They also did a wine box unity ceremony and a hand fasting ceremony. What is hand fasting? Handfasting is an ancient Celtic ritual in which the hands are tied together to symbolize the binding of two lives.

So much joy in a short timeframe…engagement, wedding, new home with land and chickens, and now a precious baby girl to snuggle. I hope your lives are full of more of these great joys. And may your love grow each and every year!
