Rachael and Kyle + 1 on the way | Estes Park Winter Maternity Photos | Mary’s Lake Colorado

Hey friends, I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day with your loved ones. Today on the blog I am sharing my session with Rachael and Kyle. And that precious baby bump, of course! We decided on Mary’s Lake for their Estes Park winter maternity photos. It was surprisingly mild for December, above 8,000 feet. There was a little bit of snow in the background, but very little on the ground around the lake. That was ok though. We still got a ton of gorgeous stuff, even if it didn’t look like a winter wonderland. Rachael and Kyle were so excited for the soon-to-be arrival of their first baby. They are a sweet, lovely couple, and I am sure they will love this journey into parenthood.

Rachael and Kyle selected two different outfits for their Estes Park session. She started in a long sleeve, emerald green maternity gown. This was my favorite. Such a great color, and she looked stunning! Kyle wore a nice greige sweater and jeans. In these outfits we captured photos on the north side of the lake, as well as the popular rock formations along Mary’s Lake Road. Then Rachael changed into a gray dress, covered with a cropped sweater, boots, and a beanie. Kyle kept on jeans and switched into a green sweater. We spent some time on the south side of the lake, near the water’s edge in these outfits. As well as some snowy shots with the pine trees. They brought along a small plaid blanket for a few snuggly photos as well. I love all the variety we got at this one great location!

This is one of my favorites from Rachael and Kyle’s Estes Park winter maternity photos. I love their sweet embrace, and the soft colors in the sky. Such a serene moment in time, before their lives got a whole lot busier!
