The Farasyn Family | Mead Colorado Family Photographer | Fall Mini Sessions

Here is my last post from my fall 2023 mini sessions. The Farasyn family was a wonderful way to wrap up my weekend as a Mead Colorado family photographer. Highland Lake worked out well for these sessions. I try to change up locations each year, so I am glad I found this little hidden gem. It had nice fall foliage, a calm lake with distant mountain views, lots of trees. As well as a bridge/dock, rustic wooden fences, and a very cool fallen tree. The Farasyn family was the last of the 15 families I worked with during this weekend. These guys and I have mutual friends, Brooke and Brent. Brooke even does Afton’s hair, as well as mine 🙂 I was so happy to receive the referral…they were fabulous to work with! I hope I have future opportunities to work with them again this year or in the coming years.

This family looked picture perfect for their session! They are all so photogenic. I love the mix of smiling at the camera more traditional portraits, and natural candid interactions between a loving family. They all wore denim for their session. Their tops varied, but the color scheme of coral, pink, and beige, tied them all together. All four completed their outfits with dark, stylish boots. There were definitely some benefits to them having the last session of the evening. We had the place to ourselves! We also got some amazing views of the fall foliage from the dock, which were just too bright for earlier clients. The sun did set quicker than we had hoped. But some soft flash did the trick and allowed us to get every shot we wanted before calling it a day!

This is definitely one of my favorites from this session as the Farasyn’s Mead Colorado family photographer. I just love that cool tree, the colorful fall foliage, and this beautiful, sweet family!

I hope it won’t be the last time we get to work together because you are all such a joy to work with.
