The Polizzi Family | Boulder Fall Family Portraits | South Mesa Trail

Oh my gosh did I love these Boulder fall family portraits with the Polizzi family! We went to South Mesa Trail for their warm, sun-drenched session. It’s been so amazing working with this family over the past few years. I will never forget their Great Sand Dunes National Park maternity session. They are such a sweet and gracious family. It’s always such a pleasure to work with them each year. Ruby is getting older now, which meant a lot more candid shots. But I absolutely loved them! They played and laughed, climbed, and spun around a field. Ruby took a little while to warm up to me this time, but boy did she warm up! She was so precious and absolutely cracking me up by the end. Her sweet little voice saying “Miss Melissa” over and over again. I just loved it 🙂

With a small family of three things go a little more smoothly than larger families. They even had time to make an outfit change. Kayla started out in a long, navy blue dress with Ruby in a plaid dress with tan boots. Dan wore a beige shirt and rust color pants. After a bunch of photos in these outfits in the mountain fields and with the colorful red sumac, they changed clothes.

This is definitely one of my favorites from the Polizzi’s Boulder fall family portraits. Sweet moment between mom and dad, and the cutest little smile from Ruby!

I mean come on, would you just look at this adorable smile?! What a precious little lady!!
