This weekend has been unseasonably warm, I’ve got summer vibes over here! So, I am bringing you this colorful Colorado summer photo session 🙂 I have had the pleasure of working with this awesome family several times now. First, for Ross and Alyssa’s engagement photos. Then, their wedding photos in Cabo San Lucas, and now three family sessions. They are the cutest! And always have amazing outfits picked out for the whole group. For this year’s Loveland family photographs we ended up at Devil’s Backbone Open Space. We were wanting to go to a different, nearby location, but they were closed because of some flooding issues. We had to revise our plans at the last minute. We didn’t let it bring us down!
Devil’s Backbone ended up being a good choice for our shoot…minus the rattlesnakes! I am exaggerating a bit. There were some spotted on this afternoon, but we did not see them…THANKFULLY!! Kids and rattlesnakes would be a terrible idea. And me and rattlesnakes would be a terrible idea as well LOL. We had had a lot of rain recently, so I think they were flooded out of their normal hiding spots. The rain had made everything nice and green there, though, and you know I love color. Their coral, orange and blue outfits looked amazing against all of the green too. I love working with families time and time again. It’s awesome to see the kids grow and change. The last time I saw little Mr. Deacon, was shortly after he was born. He is absolutely precious, just like his big sisters.
